with new EYES...comes new sight

For those close to me but faraway...i've finally quit practising law and am now a full fledged CINA businesswoman...i even wear a pouch, for real...soon you will see me with a bluetooth permanently attached and a ciggarette hanging from my mouth.

My first day was definitely an experience....no more starchy working shirts, heels and waiting for elevators.
I woke up, showered and put on a pair of jeans and headed off to work.
I drove while my dad read the newspaper.
We parked and walked a good 200 meters to the shop.

I bask in the morning sun while walking to work....i turn onto the road greeted by all sights and smell totally new to me as the morning wet market precides on the street leading to my shop.
For once i no longer have to imagine how it was like as a chinese doing business in Penang circa 1900s.
Vibrant activities of selling and buying amidst shouting and laughter where people feel at ease with each other and where life seems to simple.

For that very moment every morning, i pretend that life is that simple.
Maybe it shall be from now onwards.
I shall stop worrying and walk on this given path.
Be it in China, KL or Penang, i shall make this work.
