physical trials and tribulation
i have to my delight discovered a little quaint retail shop amidst the cina-beng filled mall.
80's collection.
Very nice.
Its the kinda shop that has a lil something for everyone.
i love the clothes they carry...all things carrie to samantha to miranda to charlotte but what i love most of all is that this place carries the clothes i visualise in my mind.
Sadly though...most items are free sizeor are up to M. To me i reckon their S stands for Small and their M stands for Miniscule.
However, i like how they are not physically discriminating as opposed to this retail outlet quite famously know as "Geb".
i saw a top to my liking in "Geb" and asked if they had a bigger size which to the lady answered "Oo ka tua eh tapi lu beh cheng, ee eh cutting si kaseh eh" [for those who do not speak the cina it meant - yes we do have a bigger size but it won't fit you cause its a smaller cut].
Now that is discriminatory, not a common discrimination but one nevertheless.
She could have got me the bigger top and if i could not fit, i wouldn't stoopidly squeeze my big oversized self into it.
But i guess sometimes this under-educated ladies would not know how to be politically correct [yes i know i m discriminating towards her to but hey, if she can, why can't i, its my blog!]
Back to my newly discovered little quaint shop, one of a kind clothes at cheap affordable prices with retail assistants who are patient and do not discriminate.
I ended up buying 3 things that could fit me, walked away from those which couldnt and left without a negative vibe as i did from "Geb"!
